“Montreal is known as one of Canada’s nightlife hotspots. But party organizers say they’re up against big threats. Some organizers are coming together behind a new collective to figure out what to do about issues such as inclusion, the safety of attendees and navigating bureaucracy. The Fédération pour les Arts Nocturnes comprenant les Travailleurs et Organisateurs de Montréal or, 'FANTOM' was created last winter. They hosted an assembly to talk about what they want to see change in venues, event spaces, and bars. Oliver Philbin-Briscoe was one of those people who organized the assembly.”

The non-profit collective aims to ensure safety, sustainability and solidarity for the city’s queer/trans/BIPOC/ally communities who work and participate in alternative nightlife culture. ...”

Comment renverser la tendance lorsque votre image est exploitée ou que vous subissez différentes formes de violence à tous les niveaux?
En réaction à cette réalité de discrimination systémique, consciente ou inconsciente, toujours d’actualité malheureusement, la communauté queer/bipoc/trans/allié.es a fondé une Fédération pour les Arts Nocturnes dont le but est d’assurer la sécurité, la durabilité et la solidarité d’une culture nocturne florissante à Montréal. ...”
